1 Malana
Malana is an ancient village to the north-east of Kullu Himachal pradesh .The state of Himachal Pradesh famous for its snow-capped peaks and adventure activities is also known to hide breath-taking villages away from tourists.It is located 20 KM towards East from District head quarters Kullu. 12 KM from Naggar. 126 KM from State capital Shimla and This village height is (9,938 ft) above the sea level.The existing speakers of the autochthonous language Kanashi, the traditional language of the inhabitants of Malana, number approximately 1700. According to the 1961 census, the language speakers were then 563, but today the population of Malana is at least three times as large as 40 years ago.The houses and temples are mostly built with wood and most recent 
constructions have brick and mortar in them. Similarly, the temples share brilliant architectural elements and the festivals held are a beauty to watch. The month of February holds the festival Malana Fagli while august month celebrates Malana Shaun.The village area of Malana is bounded by lush greeneries. The small township of the place is popular for growing mushrooms, which is a sound means of earnings for the people of Malana. year. The best time to visit this place in between May to August. when you can
view the summer festival. During summer the maximum temperature reaches
up to 25OC and at night it does down till 12OC or less. During winter, especially
in the month of December the place gets maximum rainfall and snowfall that
further brings down the temperature up to -1 C°.day time you can feel a
maximum temperature of around 15OC.Well, a place is worth visiting when
you get to taste something unique over there. To be very explicit, one cannot
hope to have lip-smacking cuisines here in Malana. But it doesn’t prevent you

world. The peculiar social structure of Malana in fact rests on villagers' unshaked
faith in their powerful deity, Jamlu Devta. The entire administration of the Malana
village Distt. Kullu is controlled by him through a village council. This council has
eleven members and they are believed as delegates of Jamblu who control the
village(malana distt. kullu) in his name. His decision is extreme in any brawl and
any outsider authority is never required.Malana is famous for its Malana Cream
a product built from cannabis plants which grow in the valley.Malana cream is
regarded as high purity hash. In order to make Malana Cream the live cannabis
flower is scrub between the hands many time, pulling out the resin to generate a
layer of sticky hashish across the palm.
